These Terms of Service do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. About These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through our website and to your use of the website.

Our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy provide additional information about how we operate our website and fulfil orders.

If there is any conflict between these Terms of Service and your statutory consumer rights, your statutory rights will apply.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will apply from the date they are published on our website and will not affect orders already placed.

3. Our Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information on our website are accurate and up to date.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device or screen settings.

Where a product is made using natural materials or has a naturally varied finish, there may be minor variations in appearance. Where these characteristics are described or shown as part of the product, they will not be considered defects.

All products are subject to availability.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).

The price payable for a product is the price displayed when you place your order, unless there is an obvious pricing error.

Delivery charges are additional and will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must be successfully authorised before your order can be processed.

If we discover an obvious pricing or product information error after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. You will then have the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the order and receive a full refund.

5. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

We will send you an order acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

Your order is accepted when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted or dispatched.

If we are unable to accept your order, for example because a product is unavailable or there is an error with the product or price information, we will contact you and refund any payment you have made for the affected order.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when placing an order is accurate and complete.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom.

Orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48.

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, Royal Mail Tracked 48 has a delivery aim of 2–3 working days.

For full information about delivery times, delivery charges and what to do if there is a delivery problem, please see our Shipping Policy.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary. During busy periods, delivery may take a little longer.

If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us at sales@futurepoet.com.

7. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

When you buy products from us online, you may have a statutory right to cancel your order within the cancellation period provided by UK consumer law.

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to request a return, the applicable timeframes and how refunds are processed.

We also offer a 30-day return period in accordance with the conditions set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in our returns process or these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to your contract with us, please contact us at sales@futurepoet.com.

Please include your order number and details of the issue. Photographs may also be helpful when assessing damage.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

We will not require you to give up any statutory rights in order to use our returns process.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use third-party services and may contain links to third-party websites or services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Our Liability

We are responsible for supplying products that conform to the contract and for complying with our legal obligations as a retailer.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits your statutory rights or our liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to those obligations, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, where those circumstances could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome.

This may include significant disruption to postal or delivery services, natural disasters, serious technical failures, widespread outages or other events beyond our reasonable control.

This does not affect your statutory rights, including any rights you may have to cancel an order or receive a refund.

15. Changes to Products or Our Website

We may update, change or withdraw products, website content or features from time to time.

Any changes will not affect products you have already purchased unless required by law or agreed with you.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom.
